About the Role
Seeking someone to help protect the value we provide to farmers by strengthening systems to prevent incidents of fraud and harassment, resolving farmer complaints, and promoting good working relationships with team members across the board. You will report to the Business Operations Lead.

Responsibilities
Case Management

  • Maintain an updated Audit and Investigation tracker
  • Investigate and write findings reports as per internal investigations Service level agreements.
  • Provide recommendations for documentation and process improvement on an ongoing basis

Field Visit Activities

  • Schedule field visits to investigate cases with field leadership’s support
  • Meet with impacted and affected parties and obtain written statements and evidence such as default acknowledgment forms and reports from relevant parties for recovery of cash lost by One Acre Fund staff.
  • Arrange any follow-up appointments to help with the investigation

Departmental Liaison Activities

  • Work with the regional teams on any requirements for the cases and advise on appropriate resolutions and recommendations.
  • Work with HR on all pending disciplinary actions from cases investigated.
  • Work with the Business Operations lead to examine processes to prevent future occurrences
  • Train other staff on basic audit processes to ensure staffing resources are available to provide audit support in busy periods.
  • Conduct staff training on several processes including repayment and document filling to ensure farmers remain protected as they transact.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets – maintaining trackers
  • Can create a detailed plan of activities
