JOB TITLE: Shop Administrator – Front Office

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Administrator – Front Office. The position will be for an initial fixed term of two (2) years subject to renewal as per terms and conditions.

Job summary:

To monitor and co-ordinate sales and marketing activities in the shop and territorial areas and ensure maximum sales profitability for the products. Create an enabling customer environment for all walk-in customers and other stakeholders. This role requires strong Communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Make everyday sales to walk in customers and other stakeholders, develop and defend brand identity and positioning, participate in the formulation of pricing for various products, monitor and manage the performance of the various products, participate in seed promotion as need arises, undertake marketing campaigns using channels as appropriate.

Minimum qualifications, experience, skills and personal attributes:

  • Minimum Certificate in agriculture/Agronomy, Marketing or Business Administration with training in General Agriculture
  • Membership to Agriculture Institute of Zambia (AIZ) a MUST
  • Two (2) years’ work experience sales and marketing in a seed company
  • Experience in seed marketing value chain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and resolve challenges proactively
  • High integrity and honesty person
