Security Supervisor

REPORTING TO :Farm Manager

JOB PURPOSE: To Oversee and responsible for ensuring company property is safeguarded all the time.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.     Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedure.

2.     Working hand in hand with the security company in planning and coordinating security operations.

3.     Organizing labor for Inspecting and patrolling premises

4.     Preparing weekly schedules for security guards

5.     Investigate suspicious activity and incidents

6.     Collaborate with police officers for issues handed over to the police

7.     advise the management on better ways of reducing theft and improving the work outcomes for security guards.

8.     Perform routine security assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities, crafting strategies for risk reduction

9.     Educate and train security personnel on protocols and emergency response plans

10. Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations

11. Submitting weekly and monthly crime status reports to management on security status.

KEY REQUIREMENTS 

• Excellent knowledge of security protocals and procedures
• Experience in using relevant technology ( eg CCTV)
• Good Knowledge of Security environment and hazards
• Physically fit and analytical

Education and Work Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Security Management
• 8 years Post qualification and 3 years in a Supervisory Role working in the security forces.
