Job Purpose
To drive the growth and sustainability of MFZ by leading efforts to attract, manage, and grow deposits from corporates and High Net Worth Individuals.
The individual will also be responsible for the performance, administration, efficient daily operations of the unit and the management of the Relationship Executives in accordance with MFZ’s objectives.
1.0 Deposit Mobilization Manager
Job Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for all the deposit mobilization activities including but not limited to the following:
Implement and support strategic initiatives as outlined by the business;
Provide input and feedback on sales strategies as outlined by the business;
Ensure that set targets that are achieved;
Ensure client retention targets are met;
Ensure that sales expectations are communicated, monitored and measured with all direct reports;
Manage sales productivity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure that set targets are met;
Drive the company strategy towards customer acquisition and retention;
Provide excellent client service and build sustainable relationships that enhance the MFZ brand;
Carry out continuous competitor research to keep up to date with competitor activities and possible opportunities;
Ensure that the unit is adequately resourced;
Achieve new and renewal ratio as determined and set by business;
Formulate, implement and review the monthly marketing plans including sales promotion activities in order to pro-actively identify new opportunities and increase sales;
Ensure action plans are put in place and adhered to, in order to improve productivity where required.

Fluent in both oral and written English, with the ability to express oneself professionally;

Strong organizational skills; must be proactive and be able to manage and prioritize workload and be accustomed to working under pressure;
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;

Strong reporting writing and communication skills.
Requirements:
Grade 12 School Certificate;
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline;
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable relationship management experience in a similar role in the financial sector;
Knowledge of financial investment products and financial markets;
Understanding of relevant legislation e.g. KYC, Anti – Money laundering
2.0 Marketing Officer
Job Purpose
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, attract new customers, and retain existing clients for Micro Finance Zambia Limited. The role also involves coordinating marketing activities, conducting market research, managing social media channels, and assisting in the creation of promotional materials
Job Responsibilities
Market research, product development and pricing.
Social Media Management and graphic designing
Product promotion
Coordinate marketing activities
Updates on prospective clients list
Draw up branch marketing intelligence database
Assist in public relations and customer service
Customer complaint management
Improving the positioning and brands of the organization
Advertising MFZ products and services through social media, print media, radio etc
Assist with the implantation of the marketing strategy with specific objectives and targets as agreed
Prepare reports and review the performance of sales teams
Requirements:
Grade 12 School Certificate
Degree in Marketing or any other relevant qualification
Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
Knowledge regarding Social Media Management
3+ years’ in a similar role

4.0 Risk Analyst
Job Purpose
To Consolidate and evaluate financial data and information, economic conditions, opportunities and products to determine the level of risk to enable informed management decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Able to aggregate and analyse financial data and reports
Monitoring, closure and reporting of risk and control issues.
Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyse and present data.
Able to conduct risk awareness and training for staff on risk and internal policies.
Ratio analysis and reporting.
Management of incident reporting.
Verification and monitoring of internal controls according to risk review programme.
Liaising with risk champions on risk matters and business continuity initiatives.
Work with various functional players to ascertain the risk associated with transactions and products.
Predict the current trends in the business market and suggest suitable strategies.
Conduct adequacy control reviews.
Incident Review and problem management.
Abreast of regulations and external factors to the business.
Submission of regulatory reports and ensuring timely reporting.
Skills
Strong analytical skills and reporting;
Credit Risk
Good audit, risk or compliance background;
Good knowledge of analytical and financial models;
Good understanding of regulations and risks in the financial sector;
Critical thinking skills, multi-tasking and problem solving;
Ability to maintain good high level communication and reporting.
Requirements:
Grade 12 School Certificate.
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
A Professional Qualification or Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University.
Must be a member of a professional body.
Must have strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, good interpretational skills and be able to work under pressure.
Ability to work with audit and reporting systems will be an added advantage.
