The Mining Sales Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating sales activities within the mining sector. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge of mining processes and strong sales and leadership skills. The Mining Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.


  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the mining sector.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with market trends and customer needs.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the mining industry.
  • Understand client needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Resolve client issues promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on mining industry trends, technologies, and products.
  • Provide product training to the sales team to ensure a thorough understanding of the offerings.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of products to clients.
  • Develop sales forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the management team.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market trends.
  • Use data to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, contracts, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all agreements meet regulatory requirements.

Key Skills:

  • 5 – 10 Years Experience in similar field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.


  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent. Bachelors an added advantage.
