The Mining Sales Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating sales activities within the mining sector. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge of mining processes and strong sales and leadership skills. The Mining Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the mining sector.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with market trends and customer needs.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the mining industry.
- Understand client needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Resolve client issues promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on mining industry trends, technologies, and products.
- Provide product training to the sales team to ensure a thorough understanding of the offerings.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of products to clients.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the management team.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market trends.
- Use data to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, contracts, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all agreements meet regulatory requirements.
Key Skills:
- 5 – 10 Years Experience in similar field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent. Bachelors an added advantage.
