Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to achieve sales
targets and business objectives.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends in the retail
hardware industry.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing initiatives that support product &
service launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Create and manage marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, signage,
and advertising materials.
Oversee the company’s online presence, including website content, social media channels,
and email marketing campaigns.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights
to senior management.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities
for innovation and differentiation.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, media partners, and advertising
agencies to support marketing initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior marketing staff, providing support, feedback, and professional
development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, marketing budgets, and regulatory requirements.
Identify, vet, and manage influencer relationships.
Coordinate impactful social responsibility campaigns in line with company social
responsibility policy.
Forge strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
Coordinate CSR & PR events.
Create internal communication material

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the retail or consumer
goods industry.
Must be a Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing.
Proven track record of successfully executing marketing strategies and campaigns that drive
sales and increase brand awareness.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email
marketing, and or similar platforms.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and
manage multiple projects simultaneously.
