This is a full-time on-site role as maintenance Manager at Kascco Zambia located in Kalumbila. The maintenance manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities at the site, including managing and supervising maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing and implementing maintenance plans and optimizing equipment performance as well as possess strong organisational skill in order to keep track of multiple projects at once. The job entails overlooking the following but not limited to equipment below.

Responsibilities

• Improving reliability of critical equipment to ensure that major production stoppages are averted, budget availabilities and reliabilities are achieved.
• Maintaining the company’s assets in a responsible manner through allocation of maintenance resources, critical spares and demanding quality of workmanship.
• Assist in reducing maintenance response times by providing appropriate communication and information to maintenance personnel.
• Conducting life cycle costing analysis of major equipment to inform decisions on replacement/refurbishment/ component change out.
• Reduce on MTTR, MTBF, ensure a quick turnarounds on breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Equivalent qualification
• Proven Experience as a maintenance manager or in similar role
• Knowledge of production equipment management and maintenance systems
• Strong knowledge if maintenance best practises and techniques
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong Organisation and problem- solving abilities
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide solutions
• Contract mining experience (A Must)
• 10 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
• Must be ElZ compliant
• Ability to work hands on in a busy environment
