MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work from verbal/written maintenance instructions for routine workshop activities.
  • Assemble and transport materials handling equipment.
  • Use a variety of simple trade tools.
  • Assist with maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and parts.
  • Assigned to specific trade area (e.g. mechanical) and carry out some routine aspects of the trade activity, according to training requirements.
  • Learn how to apply basic knowledge of the service technician area, such as mechanics/materials.
  • Complete basic reports and/or documents of work completed, as required under supervision.
  • Observe how to communicate with the customer, where applicable.
  • Network and attend training to become qualified technician.
  • Learn about the routine work procedures (using the tools provided), and start working according to safety standards.
  • Learn how to prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to others.
