JOB TITLE: Driver

DEPARTMENT: Â National Designated Authority
a) JOB PURPOSE
To provide transport services on official business in order to facilitate smooth operations
b) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Administration and Human Resource Officer, National Designated Authority and shall be responsible for:
i) Driving:Â Undertakes regularly and safely the transportation of the officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate smooth operations;
ii) Accident Reports:Â Undertakes timely the preparation of accidents reports in order to facilitate decision making;
iii) Log Books:Â Undertakes timely the completion of log books in order to enhance accountability for journeys:
iv) Vehicle Inspections:Â Undertakes timely the inspection of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their road worthiness,
v) Cleanliness:Â Undertakes effectively the cleaning of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their suitability for use:
vi) Faults:Â Undertakes timely the reporting of the vehicles faults in order to facilitate their resolutions,
C) REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must meet the following requirements:
i. Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate;
ii. Drivers licence class C
iii. 2 years’ experience
iv. Ability to write reports;
v. Ability to communicate effectively in English
