Our client is looking for a Customer Service Officer. The individual will be responsible for the customer relations function of the company. This is an exceptional individual with a proven track record of delivering results and is comfortable working collaboratively across a diverse team and is adaptable to a very dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Send invoices to customers as per the sales orders from the commercial team and ensure timely supplies to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries both telephonically, e-mail, social media and website.
- Follow up customer calls where necessary.
- Document, manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Provide customers with product and service information.
- Enter new customer information into system.
- Update existing customer information to maintain an up to date database.
- Process orders, forms and applications.
- Identify and escalate priority issues without delay and ensure they are resolved on time.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Providing necessary feedback to Sales Agronomists/ Customers.
- Innovate and apply customer service tactics that ensure customer satisfaction of the highest level with Supervisor and implement accordingly.
- Receiving, recording and conversion of orders into system invoices.
- Participating & help coordinate field days sales expos.
- Manage customer service activities and customer relations.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
Key Skills:
- Good communication skills, specifically in English, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Ability work with new tools and systems.
Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline with at least two years of relevant experience in an agricultural company.
- Hands on experience in SAP and customer service training a plus.
- Excellent administration and computer skills are important.
- Working knowledge of SAP
