Our client is looking for a Customer Service Officer. The individual will be responsible for the customer relations function of the company. This is an exceptional individual with a proven track record of delivering results and is comfortable working collaboratively across a diverse team and is adaptable to a very dynamic and fast-paced environment.


  • Send invoices to customers as per the sales orders from the commercial team and ensure timely supplies to customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries both telephonically, e-mail, social media and website.
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary.
  • Document, manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Provide customers with product and service information.
  • Enter new customer information into system.
  • Update existing customer information to maintain an up to date database.
  • Process orders, forms and applications.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues without delay and ensure they are resolved on time.
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
  • Providing necessary feedback to Sales Agronomists/ Customers.
  • Innovate and apply customer service tactics that ensure customer satisfaction of the highest level with Supervisor and implement accordingly.
  • Receiving, recording and conversion of orders into system invoices.
  • Participating & help coordinate field days sales expos.
  • Manage customer service activities and customer relations.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

Key Skills:

  • Good communication skills, specifically in English, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Ability work with new tools and systems.


  • A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline with at least two years of relevant experience in an agricultural company.
  • Hands on experience in SAP and customer service training a plus.
  • Excellent administration and computer skills are important.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
