1. ROLE IDENTIFICATION

Job Title: BRANCH MANAGER

Direct Reports:

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

1. JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our Chipata branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the branch’s operations, ensuring high-quality security services, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving business growth.

2.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Chipata branch, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of security services.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage branch performance metrics, including response times, incident resolution, and client feedback.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff, including security personnel, administrative staff, and supervisors.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and development opportunities, and address any performance issues.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.

Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the branch’s client base and market presence.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve branch growth targets.
  • Represent the company at local events and networking opportunities to promote services and build brand awareness.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the branch budget, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial and operational data to the Regional Operations Manager.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure the branch operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies to protect employees and clients.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.

4. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum  

  • Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit or better in Mathematics and English
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, business administration or its equivalent.
  • Security Background.

5.EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum  Eight (8) Proven work experience in a similar role
