Accountant

Able To prepare up to date, full and accurate set of accounting records and information of the company including but not limited to;

Chart of accounts using SAGE Evolution accounting package ,
Cash flow statement
Bank reconciliation
Payroll,
Statutory payment ( VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA INCOME TAX WHT).

MUST BE ABLE TO

Manage Payables
Analyse and maintain Accounts Payable performance
Review supplier invoices and supporting documents against invoice
Reconciliation of suppliers’ sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger every month.

Manage Receivables.

Reconciling and sending Receivables accounts to clients
Debt collection
Invoicing
Receipting
Age analysis

REQUIREMENTS

Good knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
Excellent IT skills and competent user of Sage Evolution (Pastel), Excel, Power Point and MS Office suite
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized institution.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, preferred.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as accounting often involves working with others.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
